IDF corporal Nechemia Rubin was injured today along with an IDF commander as a result of entering a house rigged with explosives in northern Gaza.
Rubin, a Lubavitcher and son of Rabbi Yehuda Rubin, director of Chabad of Alon Moreh, served as the signal operator for the commander who is severely injured.
“It happened at 4 am and we received the call at 9 am this morning,” Rabbi Rubin told COLlive. He added that his son is suffering from burns in different parts of his body.
Doctors at the Beilinson hospital in Petach Tikva were able to remove shrapnel from Rubin’s eye.
Rabbi Rubin asked: “We ask your readers to say Tehilim for Aaron Yehoshua ben Chaya Shoshana and my son Nechemia Shalom Dovber ben Orlin.”
