Rav Moshe Feinstein will stop in his tracks, open a tehillim, and cry. Rav Chaim will remove his absorbed thoughts from learning, close his eyes in fierce concentration, and slowly sway in prayer. Time will stand still as the clock strikes half past one.
The 9th hour mentioned in kabbalah is approaching. It is written in Bris Menucha,
“קבלה היא בידך: חודש הט’ – חודש טוב מן הטובים וחודש רצון, ויום הט’ לחודש – מן המובחר שבכל החודש, ושעה תשיעית של יום זה – שעה טובה ומובחרת משעת היום”
“We have a tradition: The ninth month is best of all months, a month that prayers are answered. And the ninth day – the best of the whole month. And the 9th hour – the best of all hours of that day. “
When counting from Nissan, the 9th hour refers to this Wednesday at 1:30 pm. This Wednesday, during the 9th hour, 15 of the biggest Gedolim including the Vizhnitzer Rebbe, Rav Moshe Feinstein, Rav Zilberstein and more will be praying.
These Gedolim are clearing their busy schedules to take advantage of this powerful time to daven for those who join. It will be one of the most important prayer events of the year, all for the sake of raising funds for the families who desperately need Vaad HaRabbanim’s help. Click here to join.
