The idea and need is long in coming and I laud this effort. Prevention is key. The idea sounds exciting, but this article seems short on the actual details. Please talk about the approach and specifics. Let the community weigh in on what the actual program will look like. What are the specific goals and how do you plan on accomplishing them? Much success.

Much needed

This is very much needed in the Jewish schools. Would love see this program implemented in all yeshivas.

The challenge of today

As I once heard someone say:

Children that get love and attention at home come to school seeking learning. Children that don’t get attention at home come to school seeking attention.

It used to be the parents responsibility to give over the social and emotional fundamentals to their kids.

Unfortunately due to a lack of that, nowadays it is up to the schools to fill this void.

It is ironic when parents complain to the school about not having these things when the reason there’s is a need for it is because they are not doing their part at home..

Always looking to grow and focus on what the students need to do better. Kol hakavod for not sticking to old school ways and moving along with the times.
