The Skulener Rebbe visited Pittsburgh last week and visited the Yeshiva Schools. The Rebbe davened with the bochurim and gave a blessing to the Head Shliach Yisroel Rosenfeld and thanked him for the work he does in the Greater Pittsburgh area.
The Rebbe exclaimed that wherever he goes the Shluchim are “building communities from nothing and bringing Yiddishkiet to life. Who could imagine Yiddishkeit today without the Rebbe?” he said.

the old Skulener Rebbe zy”a was moser nefesh for Yiddin in Romania, he took many orphans and tzubrochne mentschen in to his home after the war.He was their father
He was a emese Oived HaShem, a true Rebbe.
The story is, that when the skulene rebbe ( this ones father) got word that the alyah he got was the rebbes, he made sure not to attend kryah in 770 when the rebbe was there.
also there was a farbrengen that the old skulene was at, and when stood up for the mamar the rebbe told him to sit down.

He attended the Rebbes farbrengen. To my knowledge The rebbe gave away his aliya letorah when the Skulener Rebbe was present. The Skulener Rebbe had a hard time gettung a minyan at some stage because his krias Shema took about 15 minutes!
I believe his father Ths Skulener ZT”L was the last Rebbie to leave C”H,
