This Shabbos, 13 Tishrei, marks the Yahrtzeit of the Rebbe Maharash. JEM has released a farbrengen from 1980 where the Rebbe talks about "Lchatchila Ariber" and its meaning for today. Video
In the 1980 farbrengen for 13 Tishrei, the Rebbe starts the farbrengen with the niggun l’chatchila ariber and then talks all about the meaning of the phrase and how we can apply it today.
At the end of the farbrengen the famous niggun Tzama L’cha Nafshi is sung back-and-forth between the Rebbe and the chasidim.
