A Siyum and Hachnasas Sefer Torah will take place on Thursday, Daled Shvat, January 26, to mark the first Yartzeit of Rabbi Zushe Wilhelm obm.
Rabbi Wilhelm was a known scholar who authored many seforim, served as the long-time Menahel of the Oholei Torah Mesivta in Crown Heights and was the founder of the Lemaan Yilmedu smicha program.
The new Torah will be completed by his wife and children in his memory.
The Torah will be completed at 4:00 PM at Heichal Lma’an Yilmedu, 534 Empire Blvd.
This will be followed by a procession to Nosson’s Shul, 579 Brooklyn Avenue, followed by Hakafos.
