teachers don’t always understand when students are being bullied, in fact, the usually don’t. Don’t think you understand a single thing about bullying unless you were or are a victim. Most of the kids being bullied don’t open up and when they do, the teachers and principals say “Oh, nobody hates you. ‘hate’ is a strong word. I’m sure you’re exaggerating.” And after that, the kids close up and don’t open up anymore, because, understandably, the don’t see how it helps. I speak from experience. TO #10: PEOPLE ARE NOT BULLIED BY THEIR FRIENDS!!!!!!! if they are bullied by someone,… Read more »

FRIENDS THEIR OWN AGE
November 18, 2014 5:12 pm

This is a great song with a great message, but with one problem: When the little girl is being bullied, an older girl comforts her. While that’s nice and all, its not how it should be. PEOPLE, SHE SHOULD HAVE FRIENDS HER OWN AGE!!!

I was ignored by girls while growing up, when trying to contribue to group conversation I was spoken over etc. It still hurts (MANY years later) but I didn’t let them destroy me, thanks to my wonderful mother, I have grown to do great things with my life and “they” can’t ignore me now!

Great Message

I think it is EVERYBODY’S responsibility to make others feel loved.

It Takes (far more than) a Village

This beautiful video brought tears to my eyes. May Hashem grant ‎Shaindel great hatzlacha in spreading her important message. Having been in the field of education for over twenty years…having worked with students of all ages and backgrounds…having seen and heard from the wounded casualties of bullying, I share with you the following:‎ 1. Parents; Show a little (no a lot!) of tolerance for the different stripes in our midst. ‎Yes, there are folk who look or act different than what we are accustomed to. Accept and acknowledge this fact. Model compassion for a fellow Jew without any conditions or… Read more »

there is HELP!!!!!
November 17, 2014 10:08 am

Izzy Kalman (www.bullies2buddies.com) is a psychologist who teaches children who are bullied what to say to the bullies to stop the bullying. It really works, and quickly. His method is fun to learn. The effect becomes that the victim learns effective communication that turns the bullies into friends, and the child learns emotional maturity and social confidence. It is amazing to see the transformation!!! The method, like I said is fun to learn, and if you can’t see Izzy in Staten Island, he will do the sessions by phone. It is worth all the money in the world to see… Read more »

What's happend to the jews?
November 16, 2014 6:24 pm

Jew have lost their way my mother tells me. And she’s right. Those of you reading this from the UK, you know who you are, how you allowed a little boy to be ignored for so long, how you all were so eager to join in and let your kids hurt him, cyber bully him, laugh and hit him, whilst you carried on with your empty health club days. Whilst my little boy nearly had a nervous breakdown. A little boy of ten.

Silent Bullying-Ostracism
November 16, 2014 6:04 pm

Please bring awareness to silent bullying. Bullying is not only about physical assault or verbal insults. There is a more hurtful form of bullying which is ostracizing and ignoring someone. This type of bullying often goes unnoticed. Please be aware and put a stop to it in our schools. Educate your children!

Brave girl but....
November 16, 2014 5:36 pm

Why is this young girl having to teach adults and sing about how wicked other girls were to her? Why did you adults, her teachers, ect let this happen? I have removed both my kids and refused to pay any money to institutions which shelter disturb crazy children in them. Why does the school let these kids stay? Why do you smile at the disturbed children and send the victims back into the hateful environment to learn under painful environment Torah ect? I and the disturbed girls don’t get better, they carry on the crazy ways, until they hit a… Read more »

Bravo for speaking up
November 16, 2014 5:27 pm

My son was so ignored that we left the country. Caused him to have a near breakdown. Parents speak up, and take your children out of schools that let the bullies carry on. Stand up for your kids and make a noise about it.
Or Go to court and make them pay

So relevant:(
