In an exciting addition to the upcoming 44th Siyum HaRambam, the International Rambam Celebration Committee has announced that renowned Jewish singer Eitan Katz will be performing at the event.
Katz, known both for his heartfelt singing and uplifting niggunim, will lead the crowd with niggunim throughout the siyum. The grand event will conclude with joyous singing and dancing in honor of the beginning of the joyous month of Adar.
This is in line with the Rebbe’s encouragement to Rabbi Shmuel Butman a”h, chairman of the International Rambam Celebration Committee, regarding the adar dancing that he had organized.
The Siyum HaRambam, celebrating the completion of the 44th daily Rambam study cycle, is set to take place for Sunday, 2 Adar 5785 (March 2, 2025), at the historic Bedford Union Armory in Crown Heights. Doors will open at 6:30 PM, with the formal program running from 7:00 to 9:00 PM, followed by dancing.
“The Rebbe put a strong emphasis that the siyum should be held with great fanfare and publicity,” says Rabbi Yossi Butman. “The Rebbe even approved Rabbi Gavriel Tziner’s suggestion that tachnun shouldn’t be said when celebrating the completion of Torah. We are finishing ‘kol hatorah kulo’ now, which is a reason for tremendous simcha.”
Further details about the program and speakers will be announced in the coming days.
