Singer Simche Friedman released a new cover of a joyous Chabad melody that he describes simply as a nigun simcha.
The melody appears in the Sefer Hanigunim of Chabad under the “Nigunei Simcha” category as nigun number 157 (ניגון קנ”ז).
Friedman explained that this nigun is slightly different from the other niggunim in this category because it has four parts and not three. He said it is reminiscent in its structure and special style of “Dokshitzer Niggun” that Friedman sang 4 years ago.
Leading the music production of this new version of the nigun is Chaimke Hadad.
