Sima Ross, a young woman from Beitar, Israel, passed away suddenly on Chol Hamoed Sukkos.
She was 19, and went to sleep on Chol Hamoed and tragically did not wake up the next morning.
Sima was born in Yerushalayim in 2002 and always felt a special connection to the Holy City. Mosdot Ateret Chaya Mushka of Beitar Illit was zoche to educate her from age 3 through the end of high school. Sima was an inspirational example of connection to the Rebbe, tznius, davening with a special emphasis on not talking, and avoiding lashon hara.
Music was a huge part of her life. As someone with a sense for music she also had a sense for chassidus. Even with her personal strictness Sima was known for her caring and friendly manner.
She was a proud Lubavitch woman, who was a true bas Chabad.
She is survived by her parents, Mordechai Yosef and Bracha Ross, brothers Avrohom, who works at Ohel Chabad Lubavitch in Queens, Shalom Dovber, Alter Baruch, Menachem Mendel, and David A.A. as well as her sisters Gittel Dina, Malka Yenta, and Frimet.
The family has begun the writing of a Sefer Torah in memory of Sima bas Mordechai Yosef. Click here to take part.
