At Mountain View’s Civic Center Plaza, a mere stone’s-throw from the Silicon Valley giants of Google, LinkedIn and Yahoo — ‘Chanukah in 3D’ drew hundreds of people using the creative and hi-tech ‘hook’ of 3D Dreidel Printing.
As part of Chabad of Sunnyvale’s community Chanukah celebration, which was held at the steps of the Mountain View City Hall, a 3D printing station churned out dozens of plastic dreidels, which were then raffled off to the enthusiastic crowd that had gathered with anticipation.
An estimated 300 people attended the event, which included an olive pressing demonstration, balloon twisting, Chanukah crafts, music, latkes and jelly doughnuts, and culminated with the lighting of a Giant 9’ Menorah.
Chabad of Sunnyvale is directed by Rabbi Yisroel and Miriam Hecht.

What a creative idea!! I’m sure lots of shluchim will be scrambling to duplicate your fantastic idea. (actually – Miriam’s idea). I also loved the idea of 3D (doughnuts, dreidels and Delicious latkas) foods to go along with the three D printing of dreidels. What nachas!!!!!!!!!
Looks amazing! What a great idea! Wishing you lots of success.
