Amazing isn’t it? How much more inconsistent can they get… Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me… I doubt any other super deadly contagion (ie: Ebola) would get this kind of exemption. Credibility anyone? I guess covid ain’t that terrible after all… Is going to shul ok yet too?

America is crazy. This is so illogical and backwards. Good luck.

It's crazier than you think

The reason the CDC said that it is okay to go out to vote even if sick with corona, is the being sick doesn’t override your right to vote – i.e. being sick with covid doesn’t satisfy the due process requirement for relinquishing a right. What is shocking is that, the above line of reasoning hasn’t been applied to other rights that the Americans have. Specifically the right to practice religion. Even though we have a right to practice any religion, we were still banned from doing so because of covid. Furthermore, not only was being sick enough of a… Read more »

I don’t think you realize how important it is to go out and vote.
if people don’t vote, will end up with the president that doesn’t take covid seriously….

…To covid if you go and vote (ppl with covid will be there), and protest/loot/riot.

But not in school, Shul, or work.

Think about whats going on here.

Is this virus so advanced it chooses where to attack?

What pains me the most...

So many yidden believe in follow what the Rebbe says which is to follow the doctors who follow the CDC etc…
So the CDC says even if your sick go vote but yiddishkeit (shuls and schools) is forbidden – is that what the Rebbe meant to follow the doctors?! For shame! Use your head not the doctors/ CDC’s brainless nonsense! Our Rebbeim fought their lives for yiddishkeit – how dare we not do the same and people hide behind the virus!

American Politics

Are not about the people’s health but about political benefits. If the two coincide, great. If not politics win. So yes, you can expect inconsistency. That said, it is in our own best interest to figure out what is best for our health and act accordingly. Forget political experts on all sides and think, hear various medical experts. Some conclusions might match the CDC, but not all, since politics before people. Remember the CDC is irrelevant. My conclusions support social distancing and surgical masks (or higher grade filtration- IMO cloth masks are worse than useless). I believe the CDCs advice… Read more »

Ludicrous!!

And for a sick patient to have someone with him in the hospital, there is no exemption (even on their deathbed lo aleinu).

Just plain sad and ridiculous.

A laughingstock..
