With great excitement, Bnos Menachem is proud to present “Yakov,” a musical drama depicting how the chinuch and warmth of a yeshiva bochur’s childhood home empower him to remain whole during one of the darkest eras of our history.
The story of Yakov is familiar to most of us. Many of us grew up hearing this beautiful song of Reb Yom Tov Erlich, depicting the amazing life-story of Reb Yakov Potash. Join the students of Bnos Menachem on this incredible journey of self discovery and commitment.
As Yaaakov Avinu of old, who after living in the home of Lavan for so many years was able to proclaim with pride that he lived with a wicked man yet kept the Mitzvos; our Yakov drew strength from the warmth and chinuch of his childhood home to overcome the most difficult tests. Ultimately, it was his memories of his dear mother, that gave him the strength to triumph over adversity and remain steadfast in his beliefs, despite terrific pressure.
The students of Bnos Menachem are proud to present Yakov , as they prepare themselves for this most important role of being the homemaker and educators of the future, and ready themselves to welcome Moshiach.
