You should do what you feel is right and let your friend do what she feels is right

People must be free to make their own decisions based on their age, health history, whether they have already had the virus and therefore have natural immunity ( based on research from Mayo Clinic & other respected researchers ) whether they are at risk for serious side affects such as cardiac problems , and many other personal considerations. This is not a “One size fits all” situation – there are many variables and unknowns. Hashem should give us the wisdom to make the proper decision for ourselves and our families.

The best thing we can do for our friends and our family is encourage them to get vaccinated. If you save one life, it’s as if you saved the entire world.
We will make sure they know all the risks and the harm they are doing to themselves by taking it.

I don’t think it’s in anyone’s place to encourage this vaccine…we just don’t know side effects long term issues.should children be taking it? From what I’ve researched best not.Should elderly or vulnerable take it seems to make sense.Ultimately every person should feel comfortable that they are making best decision for them or their loved ones.

Encouraging people to get vaccinated is just as important as encouraging them to light shabbos candles or daven every day.
You owe it to your friend to encourage them not to get vaccinated as the long term effects arent known, and there are people who i know personally who were harmed. In israel, those vaccinated filled the hospitals as well only a few months after vaccination. Natural immunity lasts much longer than this vaccine. There are many doctors who are experts in this field who are not against other vaccines but warn about this vaccine. Also there are many rabbis against this vaccine . Hashem and the Torah demand that we look out for each other. Tell those you love to get vaccinated, you’ll save their lives.
If we all cared about each other a little more and took the time to get vaccinated, not only for our own sake but the sake of our neighbors and family, then maybe Gd will bring Moshiach.
The vaccine will not prevent the spread. The CDC states this themselves.

Exactly how would it help my neighbors and family if I get vaccinated? After 10 months since the vaccine was released, I still haven’t found an answer, except… “protect the vaccinated from the unvaccinated,” i.e. we need to protect them, as the vaccine alone doesn’t protect them. So why should I get it again?

I don’t understand if someone take vaccine they still can get covid and spread it . there is alot of side efects to the vaccine . people are dying from the vaccines . the unvaccenated are protected. So why should we take this poison when the is not enough data .
Convincing a friend for anything has nothing what to do with the vaccine. Have you tried convincing people? Good luck. We encourage people to do things but we cant ever convince them. Unless they decide.

If we really cared about our friends health we should encourage them to lead a healthy lifestyle. Obesity was the leading comorbidity of Covid and is a major health risk. Taking the Vax is the least of our communities health issues.

For the majority of people who trust their doctor when they have strep, the flu, whatever else…. speak to your doctor about the vaccine. A rofeh yedid should be consulted if you are still conflicted. The Rebbe said to ask a rofeh yedid meaning someone knowledgeable specifically I that type of medicine. I don’t know any pediatrician who learnt the side affects of the vaccines they give on a daily bases, they spend 30 minutes out of their years in medical school learning how to give shots. The vaccine has already been more than tested on millions of people who took it. The benefits outweigh the risks much more. The vaccine does not protect you from not getting covid, but it does protect you from having to end in a ventilator.
