HOw should they make a living?
My husband is a doctor and we have years of loans to pay off on top of the fact that we pay full tuition for all our kids to go to private school…SO YES A DOCTOR CAN CHARGE!!!!!!
Since we all know that Hashem makes ALL the shidduchim and indeed that is how He occupies Himself (and 40 days before a child is formed its bashert is already picked out) – if so, why do we pay fees to a shadchan, since the shidduch would happen anyway without her/him?
Maybe we pay the shaddchan for not ruining the shidduch. Maybe we also pay the doctor for not harming us!
Working for free is also commonly known as slavery, I’m pretty sure that’s illegal in America today.
How is he supposed to make a living? It’s a hard earned proffession!
What is the significance of not relying on a ” middle man” when it comes to paying the doctor?
