A 16-year-old Jewish girl has allegedly been told by a shopkeeper in Stamford Hill in North East London to “be patient, Jews come last,” the organization Campaign Against Anti-Semitism reports.
The alleged incident took place on Wednesday between 17:30 and 18:00 at a shop which has a drop-off service for parcels, acting as an agent for online shops.
The Jewish schoolgirl was dropping off items with the female shopkeeper, but in the middle of serving her the shopkeeper allegedly stopped and started serving another customer.
The Jewish schoolgirl said she politely asked if she could just have her receipt so that she could leave, to which the shopkeeper allegedly replied: “Be patient, Jews come last.”
Stamford Hill Shomrim, the volunteer neighborhood watch patrol, is assisting the young girl who was shocked and felt very hurt by the alleged antisemitic comment. Stamford Hill Shomrim has reported the incident to the police and referred the case to Campaign Against Antisemitism for assistance.

They were very rude to me too. Since then I use Sainsburies for their parcel service. It’s only a few minutes away.

Yes, it was unforgivably anti-Semitic. Just boycott the shop. The police could care less about such ‘tiny’ incidents. And in any case, would she have been equally shocked if this had been said of another ethnic person/group by a Jew?

I believe in England you can be fined for anti-Semitism. So the police can do something.
Rather than name the shop, contact the firm whose parcels are accepted and ask them to remove this shop from their list of drop-off points.
The North London Jews have always been looking down on Jews from other areas for some stupid ignorant snobby reason. Well now that Muslims have bought the hippodrome in GG that area is over.
