A trial is being delayed for a former manager of an Iowa kosher slaughterhouse because he is being treated in a hospital for a skin infection, AP reports.
Leah Rubashkin says her husband, Sholom Rubashkin, complained about a bite on his arm last week. She says he was taken to a Cedar Rapids hospital over the weekend and kept overnight Sunday after receiving antibiotics.
She says it doesn’t appear the condition is serious. Rubashkin’s attorneys declined to give further details.
