Shneur Zalman Tzadok, a son of a Chabad family in the northern Israeli city of Haifa, passed away on Thursday night, 13 Teves 5780.
He was 9 years old.
Born to R’ Aharon and Yael Tzadok, Shneur Zalman had special needs and had a bright countenance on his face that spread love to his family and those that knew him.
Close to a half a year ago, Shneur Zalman suffered severe burns on his legs and was rushed to treatment in the Rambam hospital in Haifa and later at the Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem.
In the last two months, he managed to recover and even started walking on his badly wounded legs. Two days ago his condition deteriorated, probably as a result of the bacteria a attacked him, and tragically, he passed away.
