The 12th annual Kinus Hashluchim – regional conference of Chabad Lubavitch Shluchim and directors of Chabad Houses in Paris took place on Sunday.
Held at the large complex of the Beth Chaya Mushka girls school, it was organized by Beth Lubavitch, directed by Head Shliach Rabbi Shmuel Azimov.
Participants enjoyed a full day of davening and learning along with discussions at sessions and inspiration during farbrengens.
The guest speaker was Rabbi Shmuel Greisman, Director of the Children’s Torah Scroll campaign and one of the Rebbe’s Shluchim to Israel.
With the fifth Children’s Torah Scroll nearing completion, only 62,882 letters are left to be purchased.
Greisman urged the Shluchim to launch an appeal to increase registration for the Torah.
He quoted the Rebbe that the campaign for Jewish unity achieved through the communal children’s Torah would ensure peace in Israel and across the world.
“If every family participates,” says Rabbi Shmuel Greisman, director of the Children’s Torah Scroll campaign, “we could complete this scroll and have enough children signed up to complete another one.”
