Shluchim Retreat With Rabbi Manis

Over 30 Shluchim gathered recently at Chabad of Northern Virginia headquarters for a Yom Iyun with Rabbi Manis Friedman.

For a full day, the Shluchim, so accustomed to teaching and answering questions for others luxuriated in a day of learning and getting answers to their own questions.

The talks centered on Chassidus and the Rebbe and branched off into a variety of fascinating subjects. How a Chassid raises Chassideshe children and how to convey Chassidus to Bale Battim were the two subjects most intensely discussed.

For the Shluchim it was a welcome relief and a wonderful luxury to spend quality time immersed in unhurried study and discussion of topics closest to their hearts and minds.

In addition to Rabbi Friedman, the Shluchim also heard a class on Pesach Halacha from Rabbi Shimon Raichik and a presentation on Chabad House security from a security expert.

The Yom Iyun was hosted and subsidized by Chabad of Northen Vigrinia and Rabbi Sholom Deitsch, in memory of the late Shliach to Tysons Corner, VA, Rabbi Levi Deitsch obm.
