Shluchim Kids Club Gain Traction

The Chinuch Yaldei Hashluchim (CYH) Clubs, an innovative project of the Shluchim Office, are about to begin for a second year.

Featuring four age-specific programs, it allows children of Chabad Shluchim around the world to spend their Sundays in a fun and fulfilling program.

The clubs provide organized activities to create a chassidishe environment as well as an opportunity for children to learn and socialize with their fellow young shluchim.

Here is a breakdown of the four clubs:

The Pninei Chabad Club: specifically geared towards bas mitzvah aged girls, this club prepares the young Shluchos for their momentous occasion. The club is run by the girls themselves together with a talented leader who provides both supervision and guidance. Each week features a guest speaker who explores various relevant topics with the girls. Fantastic speakers are already lined up – including a friend of the Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka!

CROWNS afterschool club: this club is entering its successful fourth year! The course is split into 6 different topics and, through a series of interactive games and discussions, children are taught about various chassidim, niggunim, rebbeim and much more! Feedback from last year included, “Chaya loves CROWNS and looks forward to it every week! My younger daughter loves to be in the room with her and follow along with her! 🙂 ”

Fun and Fabreng: Fun and fabreng is based on the CROWNS concept, but caters for older girls. A weekly hands-on activity, arts and crafts, or baking is included in the program. The projects are beautiful and each week the girls have something to show for their efforts!

‘Lamptershnik’: By Bochurim for Bochurim. This club is run by Chassidishe bochurim and creates a space for the boys to have their own exciting and interactive club. Like the girls the boys learn through activities, discussions and interactive workshops.
