People were huddled for hours on Sunday night to hear inspiring words of Torah and chassidus at the many farbrengens held at the small and main shuls of 770 Eastern Parkway in Crown Heights.
Rabbis, chassidim and bochurim were joined by participants returning from the gala banquet of the International Kinus Hashluchim that took place hours earlier in Suffern, NY.
Russia’s Chief Rabbi Berel Lazar was seen leading a farbrengen, as well as Sholom Mordechai Rubashkin.
The crowd around them filled the small ‘zal’ shul upstairs of 770, saying L’chaim and singing niggunim for many hours.
Later, Rabbi Lazar farbrenged in the downstairs Shul, and seated near him was philanthropist Yitzhak Mirilashvili, a guest speaker at the Kinus Banquet and founder of the Meromim foundation.
Also seen farbrenging were Thailand Shluchim Rabbi Yosef Chaim Kantor and Rabbi Nechemia Wilhelm.
