Sarah Feldman, Shlucha in Cape Town, South Africa, and modest fashion designer recently won first place in the viewer’s choice award and came runner-up in the judge’s award at the Cape Town Shining Light Entrepreneurial Awards. The Shining Light Awards is an annual competition for Jewish businesses that are a Shining Light for People, Profit and Purpose.
Sarah is a Shlucha at the Cape Town Hebrew Congregation, Gardens Shul in Cape Town, together with her husband Rabbi Osher Feldman. The Gardens Shul is the oldest congregation in South Africa having recently celebrated its 180th Anniversary.
Sarah Feldman is in Crown Heights for the Kinus and will be doing a pop-up on the corner of Kingston and Carroll (1373 Carroll Street) this coming Sunday, January 23 between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm.
