As Jews around the world begin the 39th cycle of daily Rambam study, Chabad of Sherman Oaks in California has launched Mitzvah Minute, a project created to help community members with the study of Sefer Hamitzvos.
Rabbi Yossi Lipskier, the son of Shluchim Rabbi Mendel and Shternie Lipskier, reviews in just 60 seconds the points of the daily Sefer Hamitzvos on a video clip which is sent to about 200 local congregants every day.
After sending out a promo video yesterday, and receiving tremendous feedback from many Chassidim, Rabbi Lipskier saw that the greater Chabad community could benefit greatly from this project as well.
He set to publicizing the videos on WhatsApp, and created a broadcast with close to 100 people signing up on the first day alone, and the numbers kept rising today.
Hundreds more have watched the video on YouTube and via forwarded messages.
