Rabbi Yossi Harlig, the Director of Chabad of Kendall and a chaplain for the Miami-Dade Police Department, along with Rabbi Mark Rosenberg, the Director of Florida Chesed Shel Emes (CSE) and Chaplain of both the Florida Highway Patrol and the Miami Dade Police Department, were recently appointed as the first Jewish chaplains for Miami-Dade County Fire Rescue by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Chief Ray Jadallah.
Their new position allows them to offer advice and assistance to the department and to the communities.
They serve as a support system for fire responders, their families, and citizens involved in emergency incidents, addressing their religious needs during times of crisis.
During the Surfside building collapse, both Rabbis worked closely with the fire rescue team to provide emotional and spiritual support to the victims and their families.

Congratulations; much success!
