Rabbi Shraga Dovid Homnick, Sgan Rosh Kolel at Kolel L’horaah Ma’asis Crown Heights, gives a fascinating Shiur on Hei Teves through the prism of discussions in seforim:
– Can one steal seforim in order to advance one’s learning?
– Is an accomplice to the theft of seforim considered culpable?
– Is ‘intellectual theft’, such as passing off someone else’s ideas as one’s own, a crime?
– The Alter Rebbe and Mitteler Rebbe’s pro-copyright stance and the Tzemach Tzedek’s seeming anti-copyright views
– The rights to publishing Chabad seforim today
– Other inheritance disputes in Chabad and other chassidic courts
And more

you (or ? ), would take us on a video tour of the library that our Rebbe got back on hey Teves, with a brief summary of a few of the selected treasured seforim.
Not necessarily related to the specific items that were taken and returned, but JLI is actually launching a multimedia class this Wednesday called ‘The Fine Print,’ featuring fifteen unique items from the Rebbe’s library and exploring the stories they tell about the history of Jewish printing.
The library itself of course also features various exhibitions that are open to the public, where some of the rare items in the collection are showcased.
