Every year, CTeen’s Shabbaton music video gives Jewish teens a voice, capturing the spirit of the moment through music and storytelling. These now iconic annual videos have become a creative tradition — blending powerful themes with original lyrics, music, and visuals that reflect what it means to be a Jewish teen today.
This year’s video, Shine On, flips the script on how we respond to antisemitism. Being Jewish isn’t about constantly playing defense. Our story is about light — filling the world with goodness, Torah, mitzvos, and Jewish pride. When we shine unapologetically, darkness fades on its own.
The song captures what teens are feeling right now — the pressure to explain, defend, and fight back. But CTeen offers a different answer: We’re here to shine. To live proudly as Jews, to celebrate our heritage, and to bring positive energy into the world. That’s how we’ve survived for thousands of years, and that’s how we’ll keep thriving.
