As the leaders of Shifra and Puah, we want to express our deep gratitude and enormous admiration for the incredible response of women from Crown Heights and all over the world who have cumulatively reached over 3,100 donors thus far.
However, we still haven’t reached our goal, which is the amount that will allow us to provide the full catalog of services to all mothers in Crown Heights. At the same time, we have received requests from many women, who have taken on a goal to raise money for one or more mothers, and have not yet managed to complete them in the short campaign timeframe. These women asked to continue the campaign for a few days to allow them to successfully fulfill the commitment they took upon themselves.
Because of this, we have decided to continue the campaign for just one more week, until midnight between Thursday and Friday, the night of the 27th of Tevet – January 20th. The raffles between the donors of the campaign will be held on Friday, the 27th of Tevet – January 20th, in the morning after we receive the data list of donors.
In the meantime, the lottery was held between the managers of the teams that managed to fill their goals. Among the teams that completed the goal by 4:00 in the afternoon, the winner for a Rebbe’s coin set in a gold necklace was Mrs. Malki Shkolnik. The raffle for the silver cup will take place on Motzei Shabbos for the teams that completed the goal by 12:00 at night.
