On Tu B’shvat, MyShidduch.net, a website to facilitate Chabad Shidduchim, will be turning one year old.
The site, started last year by a 25 year old girl from the East Coast as a helpful solution to the current shidduchim challenges many singles face, has grown to include hundreds of profiles.
Their constantly expanding list of profiles, contributed by family members or friends of the singles, has already produced 13 engagements and 9 marriages.
30 shadchanim and networkers receive each profile, which are also posted anonymously on the site.
MyShidduch.net’s services, provided as a benefit to the global Chabad community, continue to remain free of charge.
“The site isn’t intended to replace traditional shadchanim and suggestions from singles’ relatives and friends,” the site’s founder told COLlive.com when the site opened.
“It is logistically impossible for all shadchanim to meet all singles, so this allows them to view profiles of singles they’d never have met and who may be shaiech to singles they’re helping,” she says.
Visit MyShidduch.net or email a profile to [email protected] to join.

on their site it says: In the interest of full disclosure, not all Mazel Tovs came about through MyShidduch.net. However, at least one person in each couple listed above had their profiles on this site, and therefore, we would like to wish them Mazel Tov.
