Over 12” of sparkling white snow in Kingston, Pennsylvania greeted the students of the United Lubavitch Yeshiva of Ocean Parkway in Brooklyn on their 7th annual winter ski camp.
The drove there this past Friday to spend a Shabbos as part of the Shmual Schrage OBM Middos Program, accompanied by Rabbi Michoel and Mishi Harari.
Hosting them were Rabbi and Mrs. Yehuda Green and the students took an active part over Shabbos with leading the davening, sharing stories and singing niggunim.
They even helped clear the snow from driveways of homes of members of the local Jewish community on Motzoei Shabbos.
“This is the best Shabbos of my life,” exclaimed one student after the Shabbos night meal and activities.
The talmidim returned with renewed energy and excitement for learning.
“Having the opportunity to use what they have learned so efficiently will only add to their further growth throughout the year in their davening, learning and Middos,” noted Rabbi Harari.
