In celebration of The Rebbetzin’s birthday, Chof Hey Adar, students of seminaries in Tzfas, Israel, Beis Chana and Chaya Mushka joined together for a beautiful Hakhel Melave Malka.
The event, led by MC Leah Hadad, was a smashing success. The girls were treated to a gourmet dinner and left feeling passionate, inspired, and united.
The program featured various videos, presentations, and speakers encouraging the girls to strive to emulate the Rebbetzin’s ever present modesty and grace.
The event culminated with a stunning finish; the presentation of a new medley of songs about our Rebbetzins. This project was spearheaded by Chana Butman and Mira Schusterman and involved the tireless efforts of girls from both seminaries.
For weeks, the girls worked to choose songs and practice. Finally, student of Seminary Chaya Mushka, Hadassa Benshimon recorded the vocals and harmony in the studio of Beis Chana High School.
The medley is composed of songs encapsulating the greatness of our Rebbetzins (Chaya Mushka, Devorah Leah, Rivka, Chana, etc.) and was made with the intention of inspiring more than just seminary girls. The hope for the medley is for it to be played in girls’ schools and camps worldwide.
