Crown Heights Shmira News Bulletin:
As you are aware, today, the Mayor closed all public schools indefinitely due to the rapid spread of the CoronaVirus. In addition, all forms of entertainment were also shuttered, restaurants, bars, professional sporting events, etc.
Therefore, there will be many youths with no school and nowhere to go. Especially as the temperature rises this will lead to many unsupervised youths hanging out on the streets.
We ask the community to be vigilant and aware of their surroundings.
If you notice any suspicious activity do not hesitate to Call Shmira @718-221-0303 and 911. We are available 24/7 365 days a year.
We will be running extra patrols in marked cars with flashing lights and available to respond to any emergency calls.
As for your personal safety, please follow medical guidelines: Minimize social contact:
When coming home wash your hands and face with soap for 20 seconds:
If you have symptoms which include fever, cough, flu-like symptoms and difficulty breathing, call your medical professional for advice and isolate yourself from others, especially the elderly and those with a compromised immune system or with underlying medical conditions.
DO NOT panic, this is only temporary BE”H.
Please make sure your children have access to the online yeshivos which are set to begin tomorrow, as learning Torah is one of the best ways to fight off this Virus.
Most important of all be positive, stress weakens the immune system.
Moshiach is on his way.
However, there are fewer people outside due to the virus. Problem is that criminals are taking advantage of masks being common to wear one and commit crimes, so any increase is much more likely when you see one or two with masks.
Correct, As well if anyone rings your Door Bell & if they are wearing a FaceMask and you dont recognize them with the facemask, do Not let them in your house or apartment, Ask them thru the closed/locked door or intercome to take off their facemask just so you can see who it is before letting them inside regardless who they “Claim” to be, they can say they are delivery or anything else etc etc, This is very important for our entire community to be aware of.
I am more afraid of someone coughing on me than hitting me…
Could use the extra protection from robbers and looters
the religious leaders of the public school kids don’t seem to be taking any responsibility. They must make programs for the children. At the least, it will keep the already innocent children from meeting up with the kids who are already up to trouble. People have to put pressure on them to do so. A group of 10 kids or less, or whatever. however it can be done
This is definitely going to happen more. People will pretend to be co endision worker etc. make sure you always see badges.
