There were plans for the Rosh Yeshivah to learn Tanya. Those plans unfortunatly did not materialize.
this story has been told over many times. I wish it would be checked out. the family agrees that the story with ‘itche’ happened. the question is what happened after the Rebbe’s answer? did he actually learn Chitas – including Tanya? (if he did, then that alone would be considered a miracle..). someone should be able to find out. from family or friends in Yershalayim. also, what actually happened to his legs? as far as i know he was never able to stand on his feet, up until he passed away. but were they amputated? did he have less pain… Read more »
The Rebbe’s Brocha came with a condition. Chitas. More we do not know.
