The Sanzer Rebbe, Rabbi Zvi Elimelech Halberstam, hosted a group of Chabad Yeshiva bochurim in his residence in the Kiryat Sanz section in the Israeli city of Netanya.
Accompanying them was Rabbi Moshe Orenstein, Rosh Yeshiva Chabad in Netanya, who explained how his Yeshiva operates and their great emphasis on learning through a special study campaign.
To demonstrate this, 2 of the bochurim delivered a short pilpul based on the Lubavitcher Rebbe‘s teachings. “You can identify words of truth,” the Sanzer Rebbe commented.
They presented him with a sefer the Yeshiva published with commentaries by the bochurim themselves on the Hagadah Shel Pesach and the Rebbe’s own explanations.
He was deeply impressed, a person at the meeting said.
Rabbi Orenstein also presented him with a book he authored titled “Abba” with miraculous stories with the Rebbe. In one of them, the Sanzer Rebbe’s father the Shefa Chaim OBM is mentioned.
Nice that he was impressed but I know what our boys are capable of.
