Crown Heights Shmira would like to welcome all the Rebbe’s Shluchos and their guests that are visiting this weekend for the yearly Global Shluchos Convention. Below are a few security and safety tips we would like to share with you.
· Walk in groups when possible and always be aware of your surroundings
· When using your cell phone, be extra alert
· Do not leave valuables in your vehicle
· Keep money and passports in a safe location
· Don’t carry large amounts of cash
· Label suitcases with name and contact information
· Do not leave bags unattended, even for a second
· If you are planning to drive, be sure to check if your license is valid in the US
· Keep Shmira’s number saved on speed dial
· If you witness or are involved in an incident, call Shmira right away while keeping an eye on the perpetrators from a safe distance.
In light of recent attacks, Crown Heights Shmira in conjunction with the NYPD 71st Precinct will be stepping up patrols in the area.
If you see anything suspicious or to report a crime in progress, please call
