There are literally thousands of Jewish women & girls who adore RBG but never learned enough to be able to value their own Jewish heritage. If they understood how deeply she herself valued Judaism, I really think they would become curious & want to start learning more. Chabad are the masters of PR – can someone out there please get this article widely distributed ?

To distinguish between her personal Judaism and journey in Judaism versus her as a very highly placed public figure being a representative of Jewish leadership which she was not. to a liberal Jew she represented jewish leadership to be clear what I’m trying to say is if someone like her would come into my shul and ask to Davin not a problem and if a male to be part of the minyan not a problem even if they were not observant but I would never allow somebody like her to take the pulpit and to allow them to teach their… Read more »

Chabad girls needs to learn about this amazing woman!! A woman who pursued education, a woman who stood up for women’s rights, a woman who practiced Judaism and maintained her independence and liberalism. A true hero.

Meaning the unrestricted “right” to something that for Bnei Noach is outright murder, and for Jews is often also assur except under certain conditions? You want us to look up to her because of that?
