Russian Nshei to Hold Gala Event

The Russian Junior N’Shei Chabad 16th Annual Hakhel Farbrengen and Gala Banquet will take place Sunday, January 17, 2016, 6:30 pm at Lubavitcher Yeshiva, 570 Crown St., Brooklyn, NY.

The annual event will feature a full delectable menu, drinks and desserts from Turk Catering in an elegant setting with décor by Mrs. Chana Komarovsky.

The guest speaker will be Rabbi Benzion Laskin, among other inspiring speakers. The event will include dancing with a cool DJ and a Chinese auction, run by Mrs. Leah Yechielov.

RJNC is the youngest women Chabad organization in the Crown Heights community that caters to the religious and other needs of Russian-speaking women and their families in the Rebbe’s neighborhood and surrounding neighborhoods as well.

It was founded by Mrs. Nurit Sarytchev and Mrs. Rochel Faygen in 2000. RJNC runs free weekly morning and evening women’s classes in Tanya and Chasidus,weekly Shabbos shiurim, monthly Taharas Mishpaha and Shalom Bais lectures, Ezer keNegdo and Melava Malkos, in addition to holding monthly Farbrengens that are free and open for all Russian-speaking individuals from Crown Heights and surrounding neighborhoods.

Farbrengens are enriched with guest speakers, musicians, artists, health and fitness professionals, delightful food and mini-auctions as well, uniting the crowd into one unique community.

Weekly Torah classes and monthly Farbrengens inspire and unite the Russian speaking women that came from all over post-Soviet countries and all around the world to Crown Heights to build and strengthen their frum families and to raise their chassidishe children in the glow of the Rebbe’s headquarters.

The event is dedicated to the 11th Yartzeit of Rebbetzin Sora Levin, Mother of Rabbi Moshe-Chaim Levin and Mrs. Leah Yechielov.
