In fact, you were apparently NOT there to show your support, but the MR Rabbis were! Yes, Rabbi Segal, Rabbi Zirkind and Rabbi Raitport were ALL there: To support Reb Moshe

You should screen the comments before they are posted and exclude those written by immature and highly insensitive people which are only detrimental to a family in dire need and to your website. People loose respect for COL when they read distasteful lines which reflects poor management on your part and it is definitely disrespectful to the entire Chabad community and particularly Ana”sh. Censoring inappropriate comments across the board would raise the level and the image of your site. If regarding enemies Chaza”l taught: “binpoil oivecho al tismach,” how much more so when is one of ana”sh. You should not… Read more »

Teach the Judge a Lesson
November 4, 2008 12:24 pm

All Chassidim need to come out to the court room to support Moshe Rubashkin,m regadless of what the charges against him are.

We need to teach the Judge a lesson that he is not going to Punish Jews just because they are Jews.

A Tzadik Mamash

Where Are all of MR Rabbi's?
November 4, 2008 9:33 am

Moshe Rubashkin had so much wonderful “Mesiras Nefesh Mamash” to install new Rabbi’s Segal, Zirkind and Reitport.

Why haven’t these Rabbi’s come to court to testify, or at the very least just show their face for support, for Moshe Rubashkin?

Even Rabbi Osdoba, who came to the Police Station when MR was arrested, didn’t come to court to support his dearest supporter.

Hate & jealousy
November 3, 2008 11:13 pm

Notice how in the start of the day all the comments were good and encouraging to the Rubashkin family and now all the haters have come out to play. What happened? They could not stand how so many people on all chabad web sites were saying such nice things about the Rubashkins (and particularly Moshe) and the blood was rushing to their heads, they could not contain themselves after so many hours of seeing great love towards a fellow Jew and now have come out of the dark to reveal their true colors, which is Hate & Jealousy. I suggest… Read more »

it was late
November 3, 2008 7:58 pm

to number 7:

there’s no mystical reason why many supporters left. it’s just because they were there since early morning and this particular judge is known to go on even after hours, so we couldn’t know when he’d finish. people had to get back so the bus headed out. people still stayed after that.

why no dancing?
November 3, 2008 7:25 pm

Article stated:
“Many supporters started heading back to Crown Heights”

I gues those who left know “something”, we don’t know yet, that there is no dancing party, expected to follow.

November 3, 2008 7:20 pm

If the sentence turns out to be 5 years, are we also going to dance and make a seudas hodayah?

November 3, 2008 6:43 pm

Why can’t we have an update every hour on the hour of exactly “what is doing” or “what is not doing”.

Just say “something”.

How is the weather out there?

soooo?? there was no verdict??
November 3, 2008 6:02 pm

it is past 5PM in there and they must have bin a sentence already!! and there is nothins here which im afraid means not good news!!
whats going on??

soooo?? there was no verdict??
November 3, 2008 6:00 pm
I was reading the official press release
November 3, 2008 4:33 pm

of the indictment and it says that if convicted they can face up to 5 years in prison and up to $250k in fines
they pleaded guilty which should be much lighter sentence but they still face jail time and probably a prety bad fine
there will be no “innocent” coming out of this so dont have your hopes high.
also since he pleaded guilty he is a felon and lost alot of rights such as voting rights and more
life can be tough.
