Over 300 guests participated in a large community Pesach Seder at the Royal Playa del Carmen hotel in the coastal resort town of Mexico.
It was organized and led by Playa’s Shluchim Rabbi Mendel and Chaya Goldberg who serve the Jewish and Israeli visitors year-round.
The gourmet menu was prepared by world renowned chef Federico Lopez of Mexico’s Master Chef TV program, who delighted guests with the delectable full course dinner.
Guests hailed from all across the globe, coming from as far as Australia, and utilized the new annotated Hagada from Kehos in 7 different languages, including Hebrew, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Russian and Portuguese.
The Shluchim thanked Zalman and Sara Mergui, David and Perla Karsenty, and bochurim Mendy Abelsky and Menachem Loebenstien for all their help throughout Pesach, from welcoming all the guests for the Seder to organizing the rest of Pesach.
They also thanked Merkos L’Inyonei Chinuch and especially Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky – Vice Chairman of Merkos, and his brother Rabbi Mendel Kotlarsky for making the Pesach event possible.
