Having a resume that you are confident in is the first step to gaining employment.
According to a recent survey, 86 percent of hiring managers say strong resumes help them decide who gets an interview. Most of the time, having a strong resume determines if you will get an interview and not merely a first impression.
If you do not currently have a strong resume or even one at all, JCC Workforce/CHYE in partnership with COLLIVE can help. We will be offering a resume writing workshop free of charge. The one hour course will focus exclusively on helping job seekers at all levels with the basics of resume formatting, writing, and editing. There will also be one-on-one help available to those looking for tips and suggestions.
The workshop will be located at CHYE 510 Empire Blvd on Thursday, January 16, at 6 pm.
To register for our upcoming job fair on January 22 at the JCM, or to receive more information, visit Jccworkforce.org or email [email protected].
The JCC Workforce/CHYE works with job seekers looking to sharpen their skills, find job interviews, and take their next step toward a new career. Visit Jccworkforce.org to view our upcoming events and workshops.
We receive so many poorly written resumes and just skip over them!
So well needed; please get this on all social media channels and do email blasts.
