Restored and more complete audio of the Tefillos and Nichum Aveilim during the week of Shiva after the Rebbetzin’s Histalkus has been restored and published, ahead of the Rebbetzin’s 35th Yahrtzeit. An audio timeline indexes over one hundred conversations with noteworthy individuals found amongst many hours of audio. Many of the conversations include transcripts, with more being added in the coming days.

During the week of the Shivah following Chof Beis Shevat, as the Rebbe Davened at home and received thousands of people for Nichum Aveilim, many important Rabbonim, Rebbes, Rosh Yeshivas, politicians and the like came to comfort the Rebbe. For the first time, the original reels of this audio have been published, with clearer and more complete audio of the Nichum Aveilim. In addition to the conversations, these newly published recordings contain hours of audio of many other individuals and groups visiting the Rebbe.

As part of an ongoing restoration project by JEM’s audio app Ashreinu.app, now focusing on the years 5748 – 5752, the recently discovered audio reels of the events from those years are being transferred, restored, organized and published. Thanks to the participation of many in a crowdfunding campaign, many months of audio from 5748 have already been published. These reels, the original recordings of these events, contain audio that is both clearer and more complete than other previously available versions, and are being published alongside word-for-word Yiddish transcripts.
