Reps From International Chidon to Compete in Live Game Show

Many children participate in the various levels of Chidon Sefer HaMitzvos each year. But only the ones with the highest scores get to represent their schools on stage.

Indeed, the Chidon mission is “Every Child, Every Mitzvah,” and to achieve this goal, the Sefer HaMitzvos program has become very inclusive—complete with many different tracks to cater to all types of children.

Part of Chidon’s mission to reach every child includes challenging the minds of highly-intellectual children. While they may easily be the brightest in their own school, at Chidon, they are finally given the opportunity to compete against other similarly-gifted children for a spot on stage.

“This is no small feat,” says Executive Director of Tzivos Hashem, Rabbi Yerachmiel Benjaminson. Some children who have worked very hard and earned a high mark of 97.5% on their tests still did not make it on stage! They, too, will be awarded with an Iyun Trophy to applaud their accomplishments—but the stage is reserved for the top few of each region.

These chayolim get to display their vast knowledge at the fast-paced Game Show of the prestigious Siyum HaMitzvos.

Over 100,000 people watched the show last year. Let’s honor these children and their efforts. Share the broadcast far and wide to reach even more!
