In an effort to thank and recognize its over 250 volunteers, the Released Time program under the auspices of NCFJE, hosted a luncheon this past Tuesday in Getzel’s Shul.
Director Rabbi Shazak Zirkind complimented the bochurim and told them that the fact that the program has grown so phenomenally was thanks to their hard work.
He then introduced Mivtza Neshek to be incorporated in their upcoming visits. This past Wednesday every girl in the program received their own candlestick to light Shabbos candles.
The directors would like to once again thank all of the Released Time donors for making this mivtza possible.
