Zaida (Grandfather) May you live till Moshiach
November 5, 2018 8:26 pm

This Shabbos is his 81st birthday. He lives in Manchester with his wife. Unfortunately he isn’t doing so well recently and I have been living in Israel for the past 10 years, I wish I could go and visit him and my grandmother more often since he doesn’t talk on the phone. If you are in Manchester please go and visit him.

As his oldest grandchild i thank you all for the warm comments.

I remember him well from the from the old East End. A great character, very inspiring, but very down to earth.

Wonderful inspiration!

Gifts from our dear Rebbe and a true Chossid...
February 23, 2017 11:19 am

Thank you so much R’ Betzalel for the genuine sharing of your deep and poignant correspondence with the Rebbe – There are no words to describe what this means, the untold, unwavering connection between a loving guiding Rebbe and his loyal chossid. It all just brings endless tears and longing, even to one who was born and bred in Crown Heights in the late 50’s and 60’s – under the care of the Rebbe’s constant “lighting”….. If only we would have been as careful and attentive, and had given the true Nachas as you have! May we merit the Geulah… Read more »

Taught me as a young child in Avigdor primary school.. A larger than life character with a warmth and love for the kids in his care. I don’t remember being smacked but but I do remember those cheek pinches. Ooooooh! I just have to catch sight of uncle Stanley and my cheek starts tingling!
A gentle giant and a terrific educator.

Amazing
