“Rebbe is Now Mythical Figure”

Chasidic scholar and Talmud commentator Rabbi Adin (Even Yisrael) Steinsaltz was interviewed in connection with Gimmel Tammuz. The questions and answers in this interview both reveal deep understanding of who and what the Rebbe and the Chabad movement stand for, and not necessarily how people in the movement intrepret the Rebbe’s words. Kudos to Baila Olidort abd Harav Even Yisrael for saying things that must be said and for being so honest and real.

thank you rabbi steinsaltz we need more people like you in Chabad speaking practically to the people not far fetched interpretations which make no sense to the average person
