Reb (Jeremy) Yirmiyohu Yisroel Teller, a member of the Chabad community in Edgware, London, passed away on Wednesday, 12 Iyar, 5780.
He was 57.
Jeremy was always dedicated to helping out Chabad Mosdos in London in many capacities. Serving for many years as the dedicated Gabay and Baal Koreh at Chabad in Edgware, greeting everyone with his pleasant demeanor and always having an open home that welcomed people with no judgment from all walks of life.
He is survived by wife Mrs. Linda Teller and children, Avi Teller (Edgware, London, UK), Zev Teller (Edgware, London, UK), Mrs. Miriam Grant (Rosh Haayin, Israel), Mrs. Shoshana Wittenberg (Rosh Haayin, Israel), and grandchildren.
He is also survived by his siblings, Reb Yoinason Teller (Edgware, London, UK), Reb Pinchos Teller (Crown Heights) and Mrs. Soroh Rabin (Edgware, London, UK).
The Levayoh will take place today, Wednesday, departing from Edgware Chabad House 280 Hale Lane at approximately 2:15 PM
Going to Addas Yisroel Cemetery, Carterhatch Lane, Enfield, Middlesex, EN1 4BG.

Also, he was the gabbai tzedaka (in addition to being the shul gabbai), giving much from his own pocket.
In addition, he was always growing in his relation with Hashem – taking on new chavrusas (I am one of them) in various areas of learning; beautifying Shabbos (for example, for Shabbos down-time he started reading biographies of the Rebbes and Chasidim).
He was everyone’s friend.

He was such a good, genuine person. He was great to chat to and I used to go to shul because he was there. His sons are really great guys too. Lots of love.
