After kehos moved out from its old address in a basement on Eastern Parkway btwn Brooklyn and NY ave. in 1978, the floor was littered with “garbage” so deep that one had to bend over to enter. Us kids learning in OT on that block had a great time digging up treasures there including seforim, kuntreisim etc. I was a stamp collecter so i collected all stamps and envelopes i could find, most of them from the 1940s and early 50s. the odd envelope still had the letter inside, most were empty envelopes. to number 5, not necesarily is that… Read more »
