The Miami university Chabad students lost a dear friend and proud alumni. He will be missed dearly.
Reb Shmuel and I were friends for many years. He had a heart of gold.He cared, really cared about his fellow Jew,and not only Jews. When I say he had a heart of gold I am not just saying it,I mean it very seriously. It is the truth. When he someone,he helped with a smile and an honest warmth and concern.May he stand before Hashem and ask that Moshioch come right now.Baruch Dayan Emes.My Reb Shmuel’s entire family be consoled together with the mourners of Tzion and Yerushalayim.
He was a very a ‘varimisdiker yid’ and we should all follow his ways and the main thing is we should only have simchus MOSHIACH NOW!
Rabbi Finck was a really special man.
When I was a young Avel davening in 770, he would encourage me and help me make the minyan.

His chesed helped people throughout the world. This is a big loss for klal yisroel. I am at a loss, he was truly such a great man in every way. Shmuel is the epitome of a chossid of the Rebbe.
So sorry to hear this terrible news. He was a very special human being, a true ba’al chesed. I will always remember how he opened his home to a bunch of bachurim sheltering them in a very “harchovidig” manner. May his memory be a source of blessing for his entire family sh” and may his deeds be lessons for all of us to emulate.
I am so sorry to hear this. May we see moshiach and be reunited now!!

It is evident when you see his family and spend time with his children that he was a great man. His actions merited bringing up children’s with the highest middos. An example of what it means to be a good father.
He could light up any room and was a big tzaddik.
