Reb Levik’s Yartzeit in Almaty

Chabad Chassidim from Israel and across the world are currently in Almaty, Kazakhstan, to mark the yartzeit of the Rebbe’s father, Rabbi Levi Yitzchok Schneersohn, of blessed memory, on Chof Menachem Av.

This year, for the first time, guests are being provided with a place for sleeping, eating and additional needs – at a nominal cost thanks to the generosity of philanthropist R’ Avi Shaulson.

On Tuesday, there was davening, classes and farbrengens and on Wednesday there will be Chassidus classes, davening, visiting the Ohel, reading of the General Pan, classes in the teachings of the Ba’al HaHillulah.

There will also be a screening of a newly released video from the Rebbe and launching of the new edition of “The Chronicles of Reb Levi Yitzchak” books. The trip will conclude at the Central Farbrengen in the Ramada-Almaty Hotel Events Center.
