Does that mean one can buy from any store after Pesach, even a Jewish owned store that did not personally sell the chometz?
Such Ahavas Yisroel! Hashem should take special note of this love and bring Moshiach now.
The first question will be obsolete.

Why was it never done before? Why hasn’t it been part of every rabbi’s standard mechiras chometz to include any Jew who will end up not selling his chometz, just as we include in our eruv tavshilin any Jew who forgot to make one? Just as with eruv tavshilin, we would tell people that they can’t rely on it lechtchila, and they have to sell their own chometz, but in case someone forgets, or doesn’t even know that they should do it, they would be covered.
